Hardest Day As A Mom....So Far.

Well today is the first day we brought you to daycare. I hated it!! I dreaded it all weekend and couldn't stop thinking about it. I just couldn't stand the thought of you going to somebody elses house that you weren't familiar with and a bunch of kids running around. We've been so lucky to have Auntie Mae Mae and Grandpa come to our house and watch you. I knew there would come the day when they weren't able to anymore, I just didn't think it would be so hard.

We all got up early and you watched cartoons and woke up a bit. Then I got you dressed, fixed your hair and out the door we went. It's only about a minute drive from our house but felt like a never ending trip. You, Me and Dad all went inside and you were immediately excited about the little dog, Rambo, they have. You wanted down and started playing with Rambo and all the toys they have there. It seemed like you didn't even care that we were leaving you there. We gave you a kiss and told you we are going to work and we will be back later. You just waved and out the door we went. I immediately stared crying as soon as I got out the door. It was WAY harder on me and your Dad than it was on you. You are such a little trooper. It's like you knew that this was your new routine and we would be back to get you.

I'm excited for you to be around other kids and hopefully you'll learn at thing or two about sharing. I'm also excited because you and Eythyn will be at the same daycare. Hopefully you'll be nice to him and stick up for him, even though he is a lot bigger and will probably be the one sticking up for you. :-)

We love you Baby Girl, forever and ever...

(((HUGS))) Oh have I been there. You may cry more than just today - I did. But, it gets easier and it's great to see them learn and grow with other kids!

It is definitely harder on us than it is on them! Aspen loves preschool and Lilianne wants to stay every time we drop her off. I know when the times comes for Lili to go, she will be kicking us out the door - not looking back! I lose sleep now thinking about Aspen going to kindergarten full time...
Good luck and it does get better, I promise. She'll soon be teaching you new songs and so on...

Oh my......I don't want to go through that. Did they say how she did? You will have to let me know how it goes the more you do it. Madysen will be going to Daycare in April so I still have awhile. Good luck.

I think that would be so hard. Good luck, and I hope it goes well.
