Eythyn's 1st Birthday!

Cousin Eythyn had his 1st Birthday party. It was at Spring Canyon, the perfect place for a summer birthday. Grandpa BBQ'd for everybody and Eythyn's Grandma made some awesome salads. We all had so much fun, especially Eythyn. He LOVED his own personal little Birthday Cake. He almost ate the whole thing!! We all sang Happy Birthday to him and he thought that was pretty cool so we sang it to him again. The whole time he had the biggest grin on his face. The cake was delicious and present time was entertaining like always. Of course he didn't really get the concept of opening them but he had fun anyway. He got a little chainsaw from Grandpa and was already trying to cut down some trees. Too cute!!

Taking after Grandpa already. :-)

Lovin' that Birthday Cake!

Family Time

GaGa, PaPa, Auntie Haley and Uncle Tanner came to stay with us for the weekend. It was a blast. We haven't seen them since the wedding, over a year ago. We mostly sat out in the front yard and visited. You, of course, were the entertainment. You just love hamming it up for new people. Since they haven't seen you for such a long time they loved every minute of your "show". The last night they were here we all went down to Mammie's and had Indian Tacos. I can't wait to see them again and have fun times all over again. Hopefully next time we can go to their house and you can to hang out at the ocean (Mommy's favorite place).

You with your GaGa and PaPa.

Sanger Family Reunion 2008

Last weekend was the Sanger Family Reunion in Priest River, ID. It was such a beautiful place. Uncle Tim owns a beach house there and it was the perfect place for everybody to gather and have some fun before the summer ends. You absolutely LOVED how open it was and neither your Dad or I could keep up with you. We really had to watch you on the dock because you tried to jump in more than once.

You really enjoyed going on the kayak with Dad. I didn't let him take you too far even though he wanted to. You just sat back and enjoyed the ride. We thought for sure you would try to touch the water and squirm around.

Here is the awsome picture Mommy got of Dad paddeling away in the sunset.

You and I relaxing in the hammock. You really weren't too sure about it though.

You were pouting because I wouldn't let you play on the dock by yourself.

Baby's First Picture

Yesterday we had your 1st portrait done. :-) We had a little scare and had to go into the Doctor's Office to get an ultrasound to make sure you were fine. You were of course, but the ultrasound tech said you are measuring 1 week ahead of what they originally told me. We don't know if you are a boy or girl yet, but Mommy thinks you're a girl (don't hate me if you turn out to be a boy). You were so active during the whole ultrasound, you wouldn't stop moving. The tech had a hard time measuring you because you wouldn't "sit still". We love you so much already and can't wait to meet you and see your little personality develop. If you are anything like your Big Sister you'll be a little sass mouth at 9 months old!

1st Week At Daycare

Well you LOVE daycare. When you get home you can't stop talking about your day. You just say "Julia, kids, play, swimming" over and over. When I drop you off in the morning you give me a kiss and head in the play room. I'm so happy you like it, I don't think I could have of done it if you were miserable. You are just starting to get in the routine and taking a nap when everybody else does. The hard thing for us is to keep you up until at least 8:00. Otherwise if we let you take a nap when you get home you will be up all night. I know it will take a while for you to totally get used it but you are adjusting pretty well. Next week I start working 4/10's, so it will be so nice to have a whole day for just you and me; just like the old days! :-)
