I'm a big kid now...

Well you are officially a Big Girl now. You are potty trained!! You pretty much did it on your own and started telling us every time you had to use the potty. You have yet to have an accident yet, which is amazing. You just love to strut your stuff around the house in you big-girl panties.

Just in time to start all over again with your Baby Sister in a couple of months...

Happy Birthday!!

I know this is a little late but, Happy 2nd Birthday Baby Girl!!! I cannot believe you are already two years old. Where did the time go?

The last two years have been the best years of my life. I cannot imagine what life was like without you. You have grown so much and have turned into quite the independent little miss. You will try so hard to do things by yourself, like put on your shoes or shirt, but when it doesn’t work out you get so frustrated and scream a throw you little body around. Sometimes you get too carried away and fall on your butt. I just smile and tell you it’s karma. You don’t like that at all and scream “No Mommy!”. You’ve got quite a temper but can be such a little sweetheart too. Sometimes out of nowhere you will stop what you are doing and turn to me and say “I love you Mommy”. Awww, it just melts my heart. You love to cuddle; you’ll climb up on the couch and tell me you want to cuddle. I just love that feeling of you laying next to me, but it only last for a second because you have so much other stuff to do, like playing with your baby. You have this little bear from Hard Rock CafĂ© that is white and has peace signs all over it and you absolutely LOVE it. You will push the bear around in your stroller and put it in your baby car seat and take it everywhere with you. You even bring it in the bathroom with you while you take a bath. You know the bear can go in the bath so you sit him on the counter so the bear can see you. You are constantly bringing your bear around “showing” him new things. You walk up to anything, like the dirty clothes hamper and say “see bear clothes” or my glass of water and say “see bear water”. It is so cute! You like to lift up my shirt and “see” Kenzie. You’ll walk up to me, lift my shirt and say “Hi Kenzie” and then pull my shirt down and say “Kenzie’s cold”. I can’t wait to see you as a big sister, I just know you’ll want to be all up in everything. You are such a good little helper girl. Sometimes it amazes me how smart you are. You will say 5 word sentences as clear as day. The other day Mammie was counting and she said 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and you finished 6, 7, 8 all by yourself. I was just in awe, it must be all that Dora you watch! :o) You can't get enough of Dora and Boots.

It is just so sad to see you grow up so fast. I love you forever and ever and you will always be my best friend or as you would say “best siend”.

Your Birthday cake I made for you.

You finally understood the concept of presents.

You loved your Piggy!

Your baby carrier was one of your favorite presents.

You didn't really know what to do with the 4-wheeler but after a while you got the hang of it and was even standing up riding it.

You and Daddy cooking your birthday breakfast.

You just love to help with everything. You did such a good job a mixing the eggs.

hAppY HaLLOwEen!!

This last year was your second Halloween and you absolutely loved it. You know what candy is now and was thrilled when you realized that they gave it to you at every house we went to. Now when we go to people's houses you immediately ask for candy like it is and everyday thing or something. You were a ladybug this year and might I add, the cutest little ladybug there ever was. You just strutted your stuff down the street saying over and over "I a ladybug". When you would get candy your Dad and I would tell you to put it in your bag, but you would just scream, "MINE". So you were walking around carrying your empty bag in one hand and a fist full of candy in the other. I can't wait for next year to get you all dressed up again...I guess once you have kids, Halloween becomes as exciting and fun as it was when you were a kid. :o)

I had to put a picutre of your Dad's buck he shot on Halloween. He was so excited!

Randomness

It has been a while since I've updated this and I have a lot of pictures that don't really pertain to one thing so I thought I'd do a random blog with pictures that I really liked.

You ate almost this whole bowl of tomato soup.
You just thought you were hot stuff with that big spoon.
We took out our broken air conditioner and you thougt it was pretty neat that you could see Daddy and Uncle Bronson from the hole.

Your new favorite things is to lay a blanket on the floor and set up your own little space.
It is just too cute!

Fall Has Arrived

The leaves are starting to change color and you can feel and smell the cool crisp air. I love this time of year!

We deceided to take a trip to the Pumpkin Patch at Shaw's Fruit. It was so cute because we would ask you if you wanted to go the the Pumpkin Patch and you would get this big grin on your face and say, "Go to the pumpkins!". You didn't even know what a pumpkin was, yet was still SO excited for it. You just knew it had to be something fun. As soon as we got there you were amazed. You kept walking around trying to pick up each and every one of them, each time saying, "I strong!".

When I got home from work yesterday you and Daddy were outside climbing trees and enjoying the beautiful fall day. You just love to be outside and run up and down the drive way. It's also a good way to tire you out so you'll go to bed at a decent hour. :-)

I love how our street looks during the fall. This picture is taken a little too soon, but if you look closely you can see a slight hint of color changes.

It's a Girl!!

Yesterday we found out you will be getting a baby sister. YEAH!! Isn't it so exciting?!? You couldn't really care less at the ultrasound. I kind wish we would've of left you home. :-) You were so tired and crabby and the ultrasound was NOT interesting to you in the least bit. After the tech told us it is a girl Daddy had to take you outside because you kept screaming and bitting him. "You Little Turkey!" I'm excited for you to have a sister, even though there will probably many fights to ease. I know you will be an awsome big sister and can't wait to see you and Kenzie Jade together.

Fun at the Fair & Shooting the Shot Gun

We thought it would be fun to bring you to the Okanogan Fair this last weekend to see all the animals. We were right! You absolutely LOVED it. You weren't too sure about the cows but as soon as you seen the calves you were in love. At first you just wanted to smile and talk to them. It took us a while to talk you into touching one and as soon as you did you couldn't stop. You kept saying "hugs, kisses". It was just so stinkin' cute. Next we moved on to the sheep, but you kept pointing back to the calves, still saying "hugs, kisses". You really weren't too into the sheep, but when we went to see the goats you seen some other "big girls" climbing the fence to touch the them. Of course you couldn't be left out and scaled the fence.

We finished the weekend by going out to the old dump to shoot off Daddy's shot gun. Dad has been bugging me for weeks to do this so I finally gave in. It was actually a lot of fun. I thought you would be scared of the load noise but it didn't seem to bother you one bit. You even knew to plug your own ears. Dad let you "shoot" it too. Didn't even phase you, actually you had the biggest grin on your face after it went off. Great, now not only will I have Daddy on my back about going hunting all the time but will have you there right behind him. And how could I say no to such a precious face??

I just thought this was a cute picture of you and had to put it on here. :-)

Eythyn's 1st Birthday!

Cousin Eythyn had his 1st Birthday party. It was at Spring Canyon, the perfect place for a summer birthday. Grandpa BBQ'd for everybody and Eythyn's Grandma made some awesome salads. We all had so much fun, especially Eythyn. He LOVED his own personal little Birthday Cake. He almost ate the whole thing!! We all sang Happy Birthday to him and he thought that was pretty cool so we sang it to him again. The whole time he had the biggest grin on his face. The cake was delicious and present time was entertaining like always. Of course he didn't really get the concept of opening them but he had fun anyway. He got a little chainsaw from Grandpa and was already trying to cut down some trees. Too cute!!

Taking after Grandpa already. :-)

Gotta have the party hats!

Lovin' that Birthday Cake!

Family Time

GaGa, PaPa, Auntie Haley and Uncle Tanner came to stay with us for the weekend. It was a blast. We haven't seen them since the wedding, over a year ago. We mostly sat out in the front yard and visited. You, of course, were the entertainment. You just love hamming it up for new people. Since they haven't seen you for such a long time they loved every minute of your "show". The last night they were here we all went down to Mammie's and had Indian Tacos. I can't wait to see them again and have fun times all over again. Hopefully next time we can go to their house and you can to hang out at the ocean (Mommy's favorite place).

You with your GaGa and PaPa.

Sanger Family Reunion 2008

Last weekend was the Sanger Family Reunion in Priest River, ID. It was such a beautiful place. Uncle Tim owns a beach house there and it was the perfect place for everybody to gather and have some fun before the summer ends. You absolutely LOVED how open it was and neither your Dad or I could keep up with you. We really had to watch you on the dock because you tried to jump in more than once.

You really enjoyed going on the kayak with Dad. I didn't let him take you too far even though he wanted to. You just sat back and enjoyed the ride. We thought for sure you would try to touch the water and squirm around.

Here is the awsome picture Mommy got of Dad paddeling away in the sunset.

You and I relaxing in the hammock. You really weren't too sure about it though.

The Brown Family!

*Little Miss Pouty Face*

You were pouting because I wouldn't let you play on the dock by yourself.
